COVID-19 has created extra challenges for the social sector. There is support out there to help, from new technologies to government guidance and emergency funding, but it isn’t always easy to find. We’ve brought relevant resources together via our COVID-19 Resource Hub and will be updating it regularly.
COVID-19 Resource Hub
Our COVID-19 Resource Hub is updated daily and outlines the measures announced by the Government that will help charities and social enterprises. It is also signposting to the latest guidance on a wide range of issues including:
- Risk management
- Data protection
COVID-19 Emergency Funding for Charities and Social Sector Organisations
We’ve compiled an extensive list of emergency funding opportunities for social sector organisations experiencing difficulties. This includes funding available from the National Emergencies Trust, John Lewis Partnership Community Support Fund, and many more local and national initiatives.
Social Investors Respond to COVID-19
Along with other social investors we issued a joint statement on the COVID-19 outbreak: “We want to reassure all of the organisations we invest in that we will support you and be as flexible as possible in the coming months. We are actively working together on how we can adapt existing schemes and funds. We are also working with government and other funders to establish new programmes that may provide additional help.”
