The Yard is an award-winning charity that delivers adventure play services for children with disabilities and additional support needs, as well as their families. The organisation is committed to improving the lives of disabled children, young people, families, and carers through inclusive, supportive services.

Key responsibilities will include delivering a corporate fundraising strategy and annual plan, raising The Yard’s profile among companies across Scotland, and building long-term relationships that increase regular giving, mid-value donations and legacy support.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A broad range of experience in meeting or exceeding funding targets.
  • The ability to think strategically and creatively to build sustainable and innovative partnerships.
  • Proven experience of successfully planning and managing multiple priorities.
  • A strong understanding of the needs of businesses and the value that charity partnerships can bring to their success.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, together with a positive attitude and a friendly, approachable manner.

Candidates who are inspired by The Yard’s ethos and excited to bring their knowledge and experience to a highly committed team will be particularly well suited to the role.
