Grants were awarded to 106 organisations in Year 3 of the Fund in Edinburgh.

Funding Options for 2024/25
1. Organisations can apply for up to £20,000 (individually)
Partnership projects can apply for more than £20,000 as long as each partner organisation does not receive more than £20,000.
2. We are particularly keen to see applications for small projects of up to £2,500
3. Organisations can apply for up to £5,000 capital funds
This is to support delivery of work which will improve mental health and wellbeing of people living in Edinburgh.
If required, any match funding should already be in place.
Criteria
As the Fund is designed to maintain a focus on grassroots organisations operating at a local level, organisations who work on a citywide basis and those with a turnover of more than £1m will be required to demonstrate that their project:
- Will take place only within localities in the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership area
- Is built on existing relationships, activity and community intelligence the organisation has in the Edinburgh area
- That you have a plan to support people to access your activity if they don’t live in that area (for citywide projects)
Please note the fund cannot provide grants for projects that are:
- Solely focussed on counselling
- Focused solely on food distribution i.e. food banks, food parcels, or food pantries
- Which duplicate statutory services
- Delivered by a statutory body or a for profit company
- For the benefit of children up to the age of 16
