People in Edinburgh live in an equitable, sustainable and resilient city, supported
by a thriving third sector.
Purpose
To serve the needs of people and communities across Edinburgh by supporting our members and third sector organisations to be effective and drive the change they need. We will specialise in information gathering and sharing, research, analysis, advocacy and relationship management, in order to deliver impact for our members, funders and the wider community in Edinburgh. We will use this approach to empower third sector organisations to use evidence-based decisions to achieve their objectives.

Objectives
To meet our vision, EVOC’s work can be seen in three priorities – advocacy, capacity building and collaboration. Each priority has a strategic objective.
Advocacy: To create a resilient third sector by supporting advocacy, representation and leadership of third sector organisations in Edinburgh.
Capacity Building: To build capacity within the third sector by providing advice, training, resources and services that empower third sector organisations to be effective in serving their communities.
Collaboration: To connect organisations to facilitate positive outcomes.
