The Children, Young People and Families Network is made up of over 100 voluntary organisations that work with children, young people and families across Edinburgh. They work together to influence change, offer help to other organisations and improve outcomes for children, young people and families
The Network meets monthly to discuss key topics and issues, hear from guest experts, and develop short-term working groups. If you’d like to know more or are interested in getting involved, please get in touch: childrenandyoungpeople@evoc.org.uk
Use our directory to find out which Network organisations deliver a certain type of service. There are 31 categories of service – from responding to Abuse to Volunteering Opportunities.

This online course, produced by the Edinburgh Child Protection Committee, is comprised of bite-sized modules that introduce each subject and signpost to further resources.
Public Protection Module (Child and Adult Protection)
This gives an introduction to public protection. It does not replace more in-depth face-to-face learning that you may require for your role. If you are unsure about the level of training required for child and adult protection, please consult with your manager.
