The Edinburgh Carers Forum was established in May 2020 at the request of voluntary sector carer organisations in Edinburgh. It is organised by EVOC, originally with funding from the Supporting Communities Fund.
The Forum is open to any voluntary organisation that supports carers in Edinburgh and is chaired by Maureen Martin, CEO of Edinburgh Development Group, with administrative support provided by EVOC.
Guest speakers are invited to speak at some Forum meetings (from Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership, NHS Lothian, Police Scotland etc.).
