New Scots Edinburgh Refugee Integration Strategy

The Scottish Government has now published the New Scots Refugee Integration Strategy: 2024.

In Edinburgh, we are working closely with the City of Edinburgh Council and community/voluntary sector partners to consult, draft and design a New Scots strategy. This will recognise the work done to date, build upon that work and be ambitious for future actions and partnerships working to support New Scots to integrate into Edinburgh.

The process of writing a new strategy started on Thu 16 Nov with the Strength through Partnership Edinburgh event at Easter Road Stadium.  With over 100 people in attendance -partners, key stakeholders and people with lived experience – come together for a range of discussions on themes relating to New Scots integration identified by the recent University of Glasgow report.

If you would like to find out how you can be involved in the strategy development, please get in touch: newscots@evoc.org.uk
