The City of Edinburgh Council has operated its welcome hub in the Gyle Park area of Edinburgh since 1 June 2023.
Over 24,400 people sponsored by individuals Scotland or the Scottish Government have arrived in the UK. The Edinburgh welcome hub continues to play an important part in Scotland’s Ukraine response for those seeking refuge.
New Opening Hours are as follows:
- Mon to Thu 9am – 5pm
- Fri 9am – 4pm
For Arrivals in Edinburgh after 4pm on Fridays
For arrivals in Edinburgh after 4pm on Fridays, the City of Edinburgh Council provides a 24-hour helpline at: 0131 200 2306 (+44 131 200 2306). The Edinburgh welcome hub team will also arrange temporary accommodation and organise for visits to the welcome hub on Monday morning.
Moving Forward
The Scottish Government will continue to work with The City of Edinburgh Council, and partners to ensure new arrivals continue to receive a Warm Scottish Welcome and are supported to access the support, advice and relevant services.
