Edinburgh Project SEARCH is an employability programme for young people who have a disability. We will be hosting a number of information sessions for 2024/25 applicants, parents/carers and providers to find out more about the programme and how to apply.
The programme will start in August 2024 and complete in June 2025. Successful applicants (interns) will:
- Attend every Mon to Fri from 9am-4pm
- Complete three different internships (work placements)
- Complete at least 600 hours of work experience
- Work towards a qualification and Project SEARCH course
- Gain skills needed for work
Outcome results are very high with 60 to 100% of interns moving into paid jobs.

We are hosting information events to tell everyone what the programme is, how it works and how to apply. These sessions will be running at Waverley Court, 4 East Market Street, EH8 8BG on the following dates:
- Mon 19 Feb; 6pm – 7pm
- Wed 21 Feb; 6pm – 7pm
- Mon 26 Feb; 6pm – 7pm
- Wed 28 Feb; 6pm – 7pm
- Tues 5 Mar; 6pm – 7pm
We will also be hosting an online information session over Microsoft Teams on:
- Thu 7 Mar; 2pm – 3pm
