September is Gynaecological Cancer Awareness Month which aims to raise awareness of gynaecological cancers which cervical cancer is one of. Cervical Screening is one of the national screening programmes that NHS Lothian Public Health Screening team oversee. It is important to raise awareness of cervical cancer which can be detected at an early stage by attending regularly for a Cervical Screening Test.
The Screening Team has collated resources that are available to help support groups and organisations to have meaningful conversations with people you work with who may find it difficult to engage with the cervical screening test for a variety of reasons.
