Have a Say on Food Policy in Scotland

28 March 2024 By EVOC Communications Team

There are now just over three weeks left for people to respond to the Scottish Government’s draft Good Food Nation Plan, which is currently out for consultation.

Anyone in Scotland can have their say by submitting their response by the Mon 22 Apr 2024.

As the consultation process can feel somewhat daunting or time consuming, the Scottish Food Coalition have made it easier for people who care about food to get involved, through informal gatherings known as Kitchen Table Talks. Anyone can host a Kitchen Table Talk: all you need is a small group of people, a table (real or virtual) for you to sit around, a couple of hours together and a desire to explore the key steps needed to make Scotland a Good Food Nation.

To help you guide the conversation, there’s a handy resource pack which you can either access online or receive a copy of by post.
