As part of their national Your Wild Streets campaign, they are offering free interactive workshops that help young people develop leadership, communication and campaigning skills while taking action on environmental issues that matter to their communities.
- The workshops are designed to support young people to:
- Build confidence and leadership skills
- Develop communication and teamwork skills
- Learn how to influence decisions affecting their community
- Design and deliver their own youth-led social action project
- Connect with other young people creating positive change across the UK
Participating groups will also receive:
✓ £200 seed funding to support a youth-led action project
✓ Ongoing mentoring and support from UK Youth for Nature
✓ Access to campaign resources and training
✓ Opportunities to join a growing national network of young environmental leaders
The workshops are delivered by trained young facilitators and are designed to be engaging, practical and accessible regardless of participants’ previous experience of environmental issues or campaigning.
