LINKnet has planned an English course that aims to improve writing and speaking skills, while also developing employability skills and knowledge and skills in specific employment fields to help job seekers secure employment.
The course begins at the start of December, and participants:
- Must be from a minority ethnic group (people from the native English-speaking majority community are not eligible)
- Must live within the city of Edinburgh
- Must be over 18 years of age
- English language skills must be between intermediate and upper intermediate levels or beyond
- Must be actively seeking work (employment)
- Must agree to work with an employment mentor
- Must complete an application and a self-assessment form to be registered
Class D: Mondays and Wednesdays, 11am – 12.30pm (online)
Class E: Mondays and Wednesdays, 1pm – 2.30pm (online)
Speaking Club: Fridays, 2pm – 3.30pm (online)
