Diverse Experiences Advisory Panel for Mental Health and Wellbeing (DEAP)

15 March 2022 By EVOC Comms

The new Diverse Experiences Advisory Panel for Mental Health and Wellbeing (DEAP) is looking for 20-30 people with diverse life experiences and perspectives of mental health, inequality, disadvantage, and/or discrimination to join the panel.

This panel will advise the Scottish Government on how experiences of inequality affect mental health and wellbeing and how government policy can support good mental health for all.

Anyone aged 18 and over, living in Scotland, with an interest in mental health and equality, can apply to join DEAP. They strongly welcome applications from individuals who have no previous experience of being involved in policy or service development. All panelists will receive support and training, tailored to their needs and preferences, to help them in their role.

The deadline for Expressions of Interest is Thu 31 Mar, 2022.

You can find more information about DEAP here.

Complete this form if you are interested in becoming a panel member.
