Universities Scotland are vacating their office premises in Edinburgh in a few weeks’ time. Previously they installed automated door access for a colleague with mobility requirements and now have offered these mechanisms back to the company, EASautodoors, who installed them, for free. We would like to give them to a charity or school and EAS have offered to match our donation of the devices by offering to install them if we can find a recipient. Do you know of a local charity or school who would benefit from having their doors automated?
Please note for H&S compliance there would be an ongoing annual maintenance cost once they have been installed, which the recipient would need to be aware of. But they’d be happy to recommend EAS as the provider. They are a small, family owned, Scottish business with a really good standard of customer care who were really helpful to Universities Scotland when they were trying to find out how to make their office accessible for theircolleague.
There are three single door units and one double door unit available.
