Edinburgh Project Search Information Sessions

City of Edinburgh Council, in partnership with NHS Lothian, Edinburgh College and Virgin Hotels will be hosting a number of online information sessions for this year’s intake for Project Search.

Edinburgh Project Search (EPS) provides employment and learning opportunities for young people with a disability. Project Search is a partnership between City of Edinburgh Council, Edinburgh College, NHS Lothian and Virgin Hotels.

They are hosting a series of virtual information events to tell everyone what the programme is, how it works and how to apply.

Impact of COVID-19 on Carers of People with a Learning Disability

Edinburgh Development Group has produced a new report – Impact of COVID-19 on Carers of People with a Learning Disability – informed by the experiences of 135 carers they have supported during the pandemic. These are carers of people with learning disabilities and parents of young people with Additional Support Needs in their last year of school. 

The Group supports carers of people with learning disabilities and parents of young people with Additional Support Needs in the last year of school and in their transition from school.
