As many of you will know, the Edinburgh Compact Partnership is celebrating its 10th birthday. Behind the decennial celebrations however lies a much more important matter at hand; working with the Third Sector to renew the Strategic Partnership, to make it relevant for the next ten years and beyond. This has led to the launch of ‘Compact 10’, a year long project that both celebrates the past and re-imagines the future of the Edinburgh Compact Partnership.
As the Compact 10 project progresses with the launch of the ‘Compact Voice’ Survey, the team is growing to include two part-time staff – Denise Horn, and Sarah Wade.
Denise Horn is the Compact 10 Project Officer, and will be responsible for leading the project as it progresses; delivering a programme of events throughout the year. Sarah Wade is the Compact 10 Communications Officer, and will be responsible for communicating and encouraging discussion around the Compact 10. We are delighted to welcome these two new recruits, who can apply their knowledge and ideas to the project and help to move it forward.
Denise Horn says of the project: “I am keen to get the conversations started and hear from Voluntary Sector Organisations on their issues and hopes for the Compact going forward”.
Sarah Wade added: “I’m looking forward to hearing Edinburgh’s Third Sector’s aspirations for the future, and developing opportunities for engaging discussions within the Sector and the wider world over the coming year.”
