About The Scottish Gamling Education Hub
The Scottish Gambling Education Hub is a Fast Forward Programme that supports young people’s health and wellbeing by promoting gambling education and prevention across Scotland.
We provide free gambling education training, advice and resources to anyone working with children, young people, and families. Our Gambling Education Toolkit is designed to support any worker or organisation to include gambling in your work after attending our training – it’s packed with up-to-date research, practical advice and session plans. We also offer direct awareness sessions for the children, young people, and families you work with.
We also facilitate the Scottish Gambling Education Network (SGEN). The Network brings together practitioners from a variety of education and health settings, as well as researchers and people with lived experience of gambling harm, with the aim to share best practices, provide support and help establish, sustain and expand local gambling education projects. We run quarterly network meetings, as well as a monthly newsletter.
