The Council has secured capital and revenue funding from South East Scotland Transport Partnership (SEStran) to deliver against local priorities to increase the uptake of active travel.
The council plan to allocate a portion of funds to support local organisations in their work to promote the uptake of active travel in the community.
There is an opportunity to work with the Council to deliver:
- Social prescribing
This can involve creating opportunities for people to connect with others and walk, wheel and/or cycle more regularly, with the primary aim of improving citizen health and wellbeing
Funding available: £25,000 revenue and £10,000 capital.
