As part of the Scottish Government’s implementation of The Young Person’s Guarantee, The City of Edinburgh Council is delighted announce that a new application process for Young Person’s Guarantee Grants (YPG Grants) will open in April 2022, for new project delivery in 2022-23 across Edinburgh.
Capital City Partnership (on behalf of The City of Edinburgh Council) will be accepting applications for new, engaging, and innovative projects that will enhance the current offer of employability provision for young people aged 16-24, across Edinburgh.
The 22/23 YPG Grants will aim to support as many young people aged 16-24 into employment, education, volunteering, and training opportunities with a focus on the below priority groups and activities:
1. Young people from Black Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds
2. Money advice, budgeting and financial inclusion support
3. Support for those aged 20 – 24 who have dropped out of activity
4. Dedicated in-work support to help sustain employment
