The Criminal Justice Voluntary Sector Forum’s Strengthening Engagement Project and the Edinburgh Community Safety Partnership will be hosting a session on developing third sector engagement in community justice processes in Edinburgh on Thursday 25th January 2018.
This event is suitable for any third sector organisation in Edinburgh who currently contributes or wishes to contribute towards achieving community justice outcomes at a strategic, partnership level. Organisations which may have an interest in the community justice agenda, other than those which provide specific community justice services, include those working in: Health, Mental Health, Housing, Education & Training, Relationships, Substance Misuse, Financial Difficulties, Attitudes to Offending and Employment.
The session will run from 1.30-3.30pm at the Business Centre in the City Chambers and will focus on understanding the current scope and experience of third sector participation in community justice processes in Edinburgh and how best to develop the inclusion of the third sector at a strategic level in future. The event will include participation from statutory partners and refreshments will be provided alongside opportunities for networking.
