Job Title: Third Sector Human Rights and Equalities Development Officer (East region)

I have recently moved to Edinburgh from Birmingham where I was a volunteer coordinator for a mental health charity. In 2021, I graduated from the University of Manchester with a Master’s Degree in Human Rights (Law and Political Science). Before that, I studied Philosophy, Religion, and Ethics at the University of Birmingham and volunteered regularly for a variety of causes. In my free time, I enjoy running, reading, and hiking.

I am a development officer for the Third Sector Human Rights and Equalities (THRE) project, which is a new nationwide project aimed at supporting Scotland’s Third Sector Interface (TSI) network to take a human rights and equalities first approach through the development of training, resources, and networks. In this role, I act as the regional lead for the East of Scotland also support the delivery of the project nationwide.
