Ambition
To make Scotland the best place in the world to grow up by improving outcomes and reducing inequalities for all babies, children, mothers, fathers and families across Scotland to ensure that all children have the best start in life and are ready to succeed. The Early Years Collaborative helps organisations to close the gap between what we know works and what we do, by:
- Creating a structure in which partners are able to learn from each other and from recognised experts in the area in which they wish to make improvements
- Supporting the application of tried and tested improvement methodology
In Edinburgh the Early Years Collaborative consists of a multi-agency team working together to meet the stretch aims identified by the Scottish Government
