Edinburgh Project SEARCH offers three 10-week work experience placements (internships) across their host businesses: City of Edinburgh Council, NHS Lothian, and Virgin Hotels.
Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to gain an SCQF level 4 qualification through Edinburgh College.
Starting in August and lasting one college year, participants will:
- attend every Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm
- complete three different internships
- complete over 600 hours of work experience and gain a college qualification
- learn from the tailored Project SEARCH curriculum
- gain skills needed for work
Tutors and job coaches provide internship training room learning support. Outcome results are very high with 60 to 100% moving into paid jobs.
The 2025/2026 programme starts in August, and applications are now open.
