The aim of this free half day training course is to raise awareness of transgender issues and help promote good working practice.
Learning outcomes: Participants will have the opportunity to
• Explore the appropriate terms and definitions relating to transgender people
• Consider the legislation and rights of transgender people
• Reflect on what this means for their work.
• Discuss and explore examples of best practice
Date, time and venue: 20th September, 1.30 – 4.30 at the Postgraduate Education Centre of the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh
Participants: This course is suitable for anyone who works in any role in delivering services, including the management of human resources.
