Vacant Post: Sessional Youth Worker
Canongate Youth provides a range of services, opportunities and support to children and young people aged 5-25 in Southside, South and Central Edinburgh. As part of our ongoing commitment to empowering children and young people and providing quality youth work services we are seeking to recruit for the following post;
1 x Sessional Youth Worker- Senior Club & Open All Hours (11 years +)
Sessional 4.5 hours per week at £13.36 per hour (term time only)
Thursday evening 6.15pm-8.15pm & Friday evening 6.45pm-9.15pm
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and fun person who can deliver an innovative and relevant programme of youth work in a variety of settings. The post holder will be an excellent communicator, with experience of working with young people and be able to demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships with various stakeholders. We are looking for someone to help us work towards our outcomes and uphold the values of the organisation.
The closing date for this post is Friday 12th December at 12 noon.
The post is subject to the receipt of two suitable references and membership of the PVG Scheme.
