NHS 24 are currently recruiting for Call Operators to support the COVID-19 support line.
The post is a Band 2 Call Operator and is temporary for a fixed period of 1 month with the potential for this to be extended.
4 Regional Centres are recruiting:
- South Queensferry
Successful candidates will be given a rota and be required to work one of the following
- 12.00 hours – weekend only working (6/8 or 8/8 weekends)
- 16.00 hours – weekend only working (8/8 weekends)
- 30.00 hours – working 8/8 weekends
- 37.50 hours – working Monday to Friday
However, not all of the above will be available in all centres and candidates will only be offered hours which are required, at the time of offer i.e) Not all candidates will have a choice
Who Are We Looking For
People who can start immediately and can commit to the hours required. We are offering a fixed term 1 month contract; with the potential for this to be extended therefore, we are looking for people who in the first instance can commit to a full month.
Customer Service skills
Ability to follow process and ask scripted questions
Good listening skills
Accurate recording of data
Ability to remain calm in a challenging situation
