Job Opportunity: Women’s Support Worker (Polish Speaking)

Edinburgh Women’s Aid currently has a vacancy for a Women’s Support Worker (Polish Speaking).

• 14 Hours per Week
• 12 Month Contract
• £10,414.40 (14 hours per week)

Closing date: Tue 2 Feb, 9am 
Interviews: w/c 15 Feb

Role:
To provide a safe, professional and supportive service for women who have experienced or are at risk of domestic abuse. This role will function predominantly as a city wide outreach support role but the post holder may be required to support women across any of our services including refuge accommodation.

Key skills and experience:

Must be fluent in spoken and written Polish and English

Qualified to SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 6 or other relevant qualification to register as a housing support worker with the SSSC.

Adult and Child PVG scheme membership will be required.
