BTA (Bruce Tait Associates) are delighted to be working exclusively with Edinburgh Palette to recruit a Chair of Trustees.
Edinburgh Palette provides an exciting, vibrant and cost-effective arts and cultural centre for emerging artists and craft practitioners. They work alongside established artists of all disciplines and community projects at their centre at St Margaret’s House on London Road, Edinburgh. Its reputation is growing locally, nationally and internationally and is visited by over a thousand artists and community members every week. The centre is a vital incubator for creative businesses, community projects and sports organisations and operates in an open and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
‘It’s hard to get in elsewhere. It’s a great space – good network contacts – affordable available space. It allowed us to put on a professional exhibition’
Edinburgh Palette is entering a new era and is about to move to a new centre in Ferry Road where it will expand its services and meet the demand from artists of all ages and disciplines along with community groups. Already generating in excess of £3 million of social value each year, and with no external funding, the move will enable Edinburgh Palette to support more artists to realise their ambitions and grow their businesses.
‘There is so much going on in this building, it really is a vibrant community, I love the galleries and the communal library…’
It is looking for a new Chair to guide it through the next exciting stage on its journey. If you have a passion for the arts and would like to make a huge difference to the success of the artists, performers and community groups who use Edinburgh Palette every day please get in touch with BTA at email@example.com.
‘… there’s no space like it in Edinburgh.’
