Leading training for both staff and volunteers is quite often a part of many people’s roles in the voluntary sector. This 4-part online course will enable you to learn the essential practice for turning what otherwise might have been a ’briefing session’ into a training course that facilitates learning. The course includes 3 half day workshops, plus 1 whole part of the course will be available for participants to do at your own pace, online via the inter-active learning management website co-created by Duncan with www.tedtraining.org.uk. Making the whole course a rich variety of ways of learning about being a trainer.
- Give you a good grounding in the roles and understanding of being a trainer.
- Refresh and deepen participants understanding of how adults learn.
- Learn how to plan, prepare and deliver training courses and workshops.
- Provide a set of frameworks and tools for identifying training & development needs.
Through individual tasks and group work you will gain the skills and confidence to design and deliver engaging, learner-focused training with variety and flair.
The course is based upon the main elements of the qualifications in training practice.
Anyone who would like to become/be a more effective trainer.
We look forward to working with you in this new online environment.
