Here at EVOC we are delighted to be able to offer two NEW courses looking at hybrid/blended meetings (where some people are in the room and some are online) are complex and easy to do poorly.
These two training sessions will cover the practical skills of a) planning b) technical side of running a great blended meeting. Training attendees will receive a guidance document and practical checklist.
We recommend that participants attend both days to get the best overview of running Blended meetings but it is not mandatory. If you would like to attend both courses please select Blended Meetings: The planning & the tech from the dropdown list of courses. Please note there is a small saving if you book the two courses at the same time.
Also, participants may attend in person, or remotely, but if you are attending both sessions we would recommend that you attend one online and one in person.
Who should attend
This practical and interactive session is for those that are responsible for the practicalities of running a meeting on the day i.e. technology and tools both in room and remotely (The producer).
The training will focus on:
- The key roles and responsibilities on the day
- The importance of audio
- In room – Room layout / technical set up
- Remote – managing technology
Use of common tools – what to use when e.g. flipcharts vs digital white boards.
Participants will gain an understanding of what technology is recommended to run successful blended meetings, and how to set up meetings on the day. They will also receive practical guidance materials will help put learning into practice after the session but also participants will experience the session in a blended setting and therefore will observe the learnings in practice.
