This course will now take place on Monday 28th September but will still start at 9:30am.
This online course is delivered FREE to you through funding from *The Supporting Communities Fund
When our personal lives or the environment we live in seem stressful, difficult or chaotic, having a self-care routine can be an important aspect of our routine to keep us grounded, relaxed, and resilient. BUT …self-care is not always that easy.
Often though, we put others first before looking after ourselves. Or when we are feeling particularly busy, stressed or anxious, it’s hard to give space to support ourselves.
In this online workshop, Jenny White will introduce participants to some of her favourite self-care exercises: techniques to calm the nervous system, self-Shiatsu exercises, and acupressure points for well-being and relaxation and some to help reduce the symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression.
These exercises can be used in ‘bite-size chunks’ which can be used as part of a daily routine to encourage physical and emotional well-being; or when experiencing physical aches and pains; or when some emotional ‘first-aid’ is needed during times of stress and anxiety.
Shiatsu is a hands-on Japanese acupressure body therapy that can help you to maintain good health and well-being in a proactive, preventative way and support with physical pains in the body and emotional stresses.
