Course overview
The selection and recruitment decision is the most important decision an organisation or company can make.
The intention of the 2 half day workshops is to enable participants to develop a safer and more effective recruitment process for their particular organisation.
Participants will, through a combination of presentation, discussion and exercises, be introduced to a competency framework.
Emphasis will be placed on developing skills to identify and prepare competences for their individual organisations and to differentiate between basic grade and supervisory competencies.
Through Practice Based exercises we will explore interviewing techniques, effective types of questions and recording systems.
Learning Outcomes:
An understanding of a Competency Based Approach to Recruitment and Selection.
Practice in developing a set of Competences for individual settings.
A clear understanding of effective interview questions, recording and the assessment process.
Who should attend?
All Supervisory Staff who currently Interview or will be Interviewing in the future.
Basic a grade Staff in Acting Up Positions who may become involved in the Interviewing Process
Anyone within an Organisation involved in any part of the Recruitment Process.
