Course Overview

It looks like blended meetings are here to stay and here at EVOC we are delighted to offer two courses that will help make these meetings run smoothly and ensure that during the meeting everyone feels like they can participate.

The two training sessions will cover the planning and the practical side of running a great blended meeting.  Training attendees will receive a guidance document and practical checklist.

We recommend that participants attend both days (one in person and one online) to get the best overview of running Blended meetings but it is not mandatory.  If you would like to attend both courses please select the Blended Meetings: The planning & the practicalities from the dropdown list of courses. Please note there is a saving if the same person books the two courses at the same time.

Learning outcomes

Participants will gain an understanding of what technology is recommended to run successful blended meetings, and how to set up meetings on the day. They will also receive practical guidance materials will help put learning into practice after the session but also participants will experience the session in a blended setting and therefore will observe the learnings in practice.

The training will focus on:

  • The key roles and responsibilities on the day
  • The importance of audio
  • In room – Room layout / technical set up
  • Remote – managing technology

Use of common tools – what to use when e.g. flipcharts vs digital white boards.

Who should attend?

This interactive session is for those that are responsible for the practicalities of running a meeting on the day i.e. technology and tools both in room and remotely (The producer).

Testimonials

“It was good to be able to experience a blended meeting in action, doing one training day online and one training day in person, to see what does and does not work so well and why.”

“Definitely learned information I didn’t know before – lots of food for thought’ during the sessions.”
