Listening to 1001 Edinburgh Voices
Mind the Craic is an initiative by Edinburgh Voluntary Organisations’ Council in partnership with Volunteer Edinburgh and the Third Sector Strategy Group to research what really works in the field of prevention and early intervention for Edinburgh’s citizens.
This project is set to deliver a programme of ‘curated encounters’ with citizens from August to November 2018 and will include one-to-one conversations and small groups, engaging people through third sector organisations, community groups and citizens.
We are aiming to reach out to people where they are, covering the different geographical areas and fields of intervention.
Could your organisation help make these voices heard?
We are looking for partner organisations who would be interested in helping us get in touch with service users. Through working closely with partners, the project will bring together the descriptions of people’s experiences to highlight common themes.
We will organise a series of events within the different communities in Edinburgh and through this make a range of voices heard through diverse mediums such as film, storytelling, drawing, exhibitions and theatre.
Organisations, individuals and collectives interested in working in partnership with Mind the Craic, please contact Virginia Bjertnes on firstname.lastname@example.org.
