EVOC are helping the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) with a review of access to health and social care services in Edinburgh for Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) community members. The JSNA have drawn up a Preliminary Report based on the findings of a forum hosted at EVOC in October 2016, as well as pre-existing data about the topic. They have asked EVOC to facilitate with collecting feedback from BME community groups, and other Third Sector organisations who work with BME service users. We would like to hear your thoughts about the recommendations made, as well as the content, approach and terminology of the preliminary report.
Please ensure you read the note from EVOC on the first page, and see page 16 for a list of the major questions the JSNA are looking to address in Phase II of their review.
We know it isn’t perfect, but we’re here to listen to your thoughts and make the changes you think will help the JSNA to get it there.
