New funding for older people’s services
EVOC is delighted to launch the new Voluntary Sector Resilience Fund for providers of services to Edinburgh’s older people, aged 65+. Below you will find the paperwork and forms to apply for between £1,500 and £10,000.
Voluntary organisations already providing essential services for local older people (and their carers) in the community, who can evidence their preventative role can bid for a grant to enhance or secure their existing service provision. Examples might include:
- Investment to sustain or expand a service, or explore better ways of working
- Investment in specialist staff
- Bridging funding to stabilise a service or create much needed breathing-space
- Small capital purchases, investment in facilities
- Purchase of transport
Successful applications will identify how they meet the outcomes of the Reshaping Care for Older People Change Fund. Please read all the accompanying documents for more information and before attempting to complete the application form.
The closing date for the receipt of completed applications is Friday 17 May at 12noon. An independent funding panel will assess applications and allocate the grants.
