thinkSpaces are an opportunity for organisations to come together to learn about and discuss relevant issues and developments in different fields the Third Sector are involved with. EVOC are proud to be running an ongoing thinkSpace programme covering the widest range of topics.
10am–2pm, Wednesday 28th September, Norton Park Conference Centre
Over two years after Self-Directed Support (SDS) legislation came into force, to what degree have the potential benefits been realised and what is left still to do? EVOC are bringing together people with lived experience, carers, third sector organisations, councillors and NHS and council officers to consider the picture and help to map out the way forward in Edinburgh.
A full agenda will be published shortly. Speakers will include people with lived experience, SDS Scotland and the City of Edinburgh Council, but there will be a strong emphasis on workshop sessions to facilitate involvement from the full range of attendees.
Places are free but limited.
