Change Fund

The Change Fund represents a major investment of government funding in Scotland to bring about lasting changes in the ways we care for older people in communities rather than institutions.

EVOC has been tasked with allocating a discrete Innovation Fund which forms part of the overall Edinburgh Change Fund. For more information about the Innovation Fund Programme see the background information and fund criteria.

The closing date for applications was 30 November and decisions will be announced on Friday 16 December.

The Innovation Fund will provide recipients with the opportunity:

• to fund modern service-delivery ideas
• to build upon successful best practice in delivering services to older people
• to do things differently which will produce enhanced long-term benefits
• to try a new idea using a modern approach
• to take an existing successful service and deliver it over a larger area
• to specifically improve the capacity of organisations to better engage volunteers.
