Getting it right in Edinburgh

Getting it right is the national framework to help coordinate children’s services across Scotland.  Edinburgh’s strategic partnership supports the Getting it right in Edinburgh approach across the city. The Getting it right Values and Principles should underpin all work which supports children, young people, parents and carers.

Getting it right in Edinburgh aspires to give the right help, at the right time, for the right length of time. It operates in a context of joined-up working among multi-agency teams which are supported and managed locally across the city by five Children’s Services Management Groups.
