Aim: To raise awareness of transgender issues and help promote good working practice.
Learning outcomes: Participants will have the opportunity to –
• Explore the appropriate terms and definitions relating to transgender people
• Consider the legislation and rights of transgender people
• Reflect on what this means for their work
• Discuss and explore examples of best practice.
