Seven Scottish City Stories

Seven Scottish City Stories is a project by a collective of architects, film-makers and graphic designers from the Edinburgh College of Art that starts by asking “how can we better understand Scotland’s unique city places from a citizen’s perspective?” The project aims to begin by telling the stories of Scotland’s seven cities from the citizen’s perspectives by collating spoken word, maps and archive film weaving a narrative to begin discussion and debate around what is valuable to individuals about their cities.

We need people with an opinion about the places they live or work, and would like to speak with you if you would be willing to participate, asking a set of short questions about what you do in the city, and your experience of this (taking roughly 5 mins). This will be captured on video as a way of documenting the story and the video will then be incorporated into the website, and maybe quoted in verbatim in later stages.

We look forward to hearing from you.
