Action for M.E. are now looking for people living with M.E. who would like to have peer mentor support.
We are now looking for potential mentees in the Edinburgh, Lothians and Fife area. The project will be rolled out across Scotland in the future.
What can peer mentoring offer?
Mentors will use their knowledge and experience, to support someone living with M.E. to manage their condition and live a more fulfilling life whatever their present circumstances. Mentees and mentors will have on-going support from Action for M.E. and will be able to meet with other people in similar circumstances.
If you are interested in becoming a peer mentor or would like to know more about what the role involves, please contact Avril McLean, Project Worker on 07753 247099 or through email, firstname.lastname@example.org.
