The annual Museums and Heritage Awards are now open for entries to a total of eleven categories, covering all major aspects of the museums, galleries and heritage attractions sector in the UK. The Awards are also open to operators and suppliers unless otherwise stated.
Projects can be considered for a maximum of three categories from the following list:
- The International Award
- Marketing Campaign
- Temporary/Touring Exhibition
- Project on a Limited Budget
- Educational Initiative
- Permanent Exhibition
- Fundraising Initiative
- Volunteers of the Year Award
- Best Shop (turnover of under £500,000) / Best Shop (turnover of above £500,000)
The entry fee for the Awards is £95 for all categories except Project on a Limited Budget for which the entry fee is £55 and Volunteers of the Year Award for which all entries are free. The fee applies for each individual category entered into.
Submissions should relate to the period between 1 January 2017 and 31 December 2017.
The awards ceremony will take place on 16 May 2018.
The deadline for entries is 1 February 2018.
