Equality and Human Rights Performance Framework for the Third Sector
Does your organisation have experience of the benefits and challenges of mainstreaming equality and human rights?
If so then your input to the development of a draft Equality and Human Rights Performance Framework for the Third Sector would be invaluable and we would like to invite you to one of the three focus group meetings we have arranged in Scotland, Wales and England in February.
GCVS and CRER are currently developing a draft Equality and Human Rights Framework for the Third Sector on behalf of a consortium of organisations including the Equality and Diversity Forum, Shelter, Age UK, Macmillan Cancer, Campaign for National Parks and Action for Children, funded by the Equality and Human Rights Commission.
We’re seeking expertise from Voluntary Organisations across Britain to make sure this competency based, outcome focussed performance measurement Framework meets the needs of Britain’s diverse Third Sector.

Date: Thursday, 2nd February, afternoon meeting
Venue: EVOC, 1st Floor, 14 Ashley Place, Edinburgh, EH6 5PX
Cardiff:
Date: Friday, 10th February, afternoon meeting
Venue: WCVA, Baltic House, Mount Stuart Square, Cardiff Bay, Cardiff CF10 5FH
London:
Date: Tuesday, 14th February, afternoon meeting
Venue: Quaker Friends Meeting House, Friends House, 173-177 Euston Road, London NW1 2BJ
Additional Meetings
Glasgow:
Dates: Monday 6th, Wednesday 8th, and Thursday 16th February, afternoon meetings.
Venue: The Albany Learning and Conference Centre, 44 Ashley Street, Glasgow G3 6DS
The meetings in Glasgow will look at how the Framework can best meet the needs of small, medium and large organisations. Organisations attending these events don’t need to have significant experience of mainstreaming equality and human rights, just an opinion on what the benefits and challenges might be for their organisation.
If you would be interested in attending any of the focus groups please email stacey.anderson@gcvs.org.uk with the following details: name, organisation, venue/date, accessibility requirements and any previous experience you may have of working with such frameworks.
For any other enquiries about this project please email carol@crer.org.uk
