Eva Clarke was born on the back of a coal wagon truck 29th April 1945 in Mauthausen Concentration Camp, Austria days before the camp was liberated. Weighing barely three pounds she somehow miraculously survived. Eva and her mother were the only survivors from their family, 15 members of whom were killed in Auschwitz: Eva tells the remarkable story of her own and her mother’s survival at the Drumbrae Library Hub on 6 February 6.30 – 8pm.
