Thursday 4th May, 9.30am (for 10am start) – 3pm
COSLA Conference Centre, Edinburgh
Our monthly integration forum in January focused on strategic commissioning. On the day you told us that having a similar event in different parts of Scotland would be helpful for you, your colleagues and peers. In response to this we have organised a series of regional events focused on strategic commissioning.
This event is being held in Edinburgh but we are also running the session in:
DUMFRIES – Wednesday 29th March
GLASGOW – Wednesday 5th April
ABERDEEN – Wednesday 26th April
AYR – Thursday 11th May
CLYDEBANK – Wednesday 17th May, and
PERTH – Wednesday 24th May
Coffee and Tea will be available from 9.30am, and each event runs from 10am until 3pm. The main focus is to provide participants with:-
– An introduction to strategic commissioning;
– An overview of how it is being progressed locally, and across Scotland, from a third sector perspective;
– The opportunity to discuss their experience of strategic commissioning to date; and
– A chance to explore and consider what opportunities strategic commissioning may afford the sector in 2017-18 and how these can be capitalised on.
The events are aimed at Third Sector Organisations with an interest in health and social care integration but we have ring-fenced a few places for the representatives of other stakeholder groups on the different integration structures and staff within integrated authorities who think that attending would be useful.
Places are free but limited, so please reserve your space for the Edinburgh Strategic Commissioning Forum in advance to secure your space.
Please advise of any dietary/accessiblity requirements in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
