Lawyers and the Voluntary Sector: Partnership Possibilities

This event is aimed at both legal professionals and the voluntary sector.

It provides an opportunity to 1) find out more about pro bono legal work in Scotland and 2) explore ways the legal profession can get involved in the voluntary sector, as trustees or committee members of voluntary organisations. What are the voluntary sector needs, and how can the legal profession benefit professionally and personally from getting involved?

Including short presentations from SCVO, lawyers from the private (Lindsay’s, MacRoberts) and public sector (Scottish Government Lawyers Pro Bono Network), and several voluntary organisations. Followed by wine reception
