Introduction
EVOC Care Learning supports Care Service Providers by providing:
support to organisations on workforce development/care learning; promoting partnership working across the sector in forums; care online tools etc
This includes
- identifying seminars and training to meet emerging workforce needs as part of the EVOC Learning programme
- facilitating inter and cross sector partnership working on sharing learning opportunities which will help care providers to achieving national workforce requirements
- supporting organisations to develop Care Learning plans for employees and volunteers using the EVOC Care Training Needs Analyser
Forums provide a focus for sharing expertise and knowledge. Care Learning partners include local and national voluntary sector organisations; Health and Social Care; NHS; Children and Families; Services for Communities; Independent Training providers and HEI / FE and care private sector colleagues.
The EVOC Partnership Care Learning Network meets quarterly with the aim of promoting partnership across the care sector on workforce development and sharing knowledge and expertise.
The EVOC SVQ Interest group meets quarterly to discuss SVQ delivery, content and management. This group is of particular interest to managers; assessors; I.V's; and SVQ providers.

Care Exchange
Care Exchange is a resource for care workers and managers from across the care sector . Use the database to search for training opportunities and organisations willing to share their care expertise. The aim is to develop opportunities for sharing resources expertise and finding the right training. Care Organisations and Training providers can market their training expertise. This facility is free for all.
EVOC Care Training Needs Analyser
ECTNA is an online training needs analyses tool designed for Care Service Providers in Scotland. Use this tool to determine qualifications for each post and manage staff progress in meeting SSSC.
