EVOC Care LearningIntroductionIn 2005 EVOC developed the Care Learning service to focus on supporting Edinburgh Care Service Providers to meet the National Regulation and Registration requirements. This development is funded by ESF until December 2007. During 2007 EVOC Learning will focus on care learning by: providing seminars and training which explore the emerging workforce needs. facilitating inter and cross sector partnership working on sharing training opportunities which will assist with achieving nationally set workforce strategy objectives. supporting organisations to develop Care Learning plans for employees and volunteers using the EVOC Care Training Needs Analyser providing information, as it becomes available, on developments at local /regional and national levels on care learning and development issues. Forums – these forums have a focus on sharing expertise and knowledge plus time for networking. Care Learning partners include local and national voluntary sectors; Health and Social Care; Children and Families; Services for Communities; Independent Training providers; HEI and FE.
WEB Tools developed to support Care Learning at www.evoc.org.uk Care Exchange is an essential resource for care workers and managers from all sectors across South East Scotland. Use the database to search for training opportunities and organisations willing to share their care expertise. The aim is to develop opportunities for sharing resources expertise and finding the right training. Training providers and Care providers can market their training expertise. This facility is free for all. EVOC Care Training Needs Analyser ECTNA is an online training needs analyses tool designed for Care Service Providers in Scotland . Use this tool to determine qualifications for each post and manage staff progress in meeting SSSC Regulation and Registration requirements. The EVOC Care TNA is available on this website and is free to all care providers during 2007.
