EVOC Care Training Needs Analyser

EVOC Learning is pleased to announce that the Care Training Needs Analyser is available on www.evoc.org.uk
Please feel free to contact Trisha Gow if you would like a demonstration of the tool and the four stages in using the system. A demonstration session can last up to 1 1/2 hours.

To view the TNA, please complete a registration form and return to EVOC Learning. We will then process your information and provide you with a user name and password plus a step-by-step guide to using the TNA.

SVQ Interest Group

Date of next meeting - 13th November 07 in the EVOC Boardroom (10am - 12noon)

This group is open to any organisation using or thinking about using SVQ's. It is particularly useful to Assessors; I.V's; Training officers and staff with a training remit. We also welcome representatives from FE; Voluntary and Independent Training Providers and partners from Health and Social Care; NHS; Children and Families and Services for Communities. The aim is to discuss and share information on Care SVQ's. Attendance at this meeting contributes to your learning/continuous professional development. At this meeting we sometimes invite speakers and you set the agenda on the day with networking time built in!

 

The EVOC Partnership Care Learning Network

Date of next meeting - 6th December 07 in the EVOC boardroom (9.30am - 12.30pm)

The next meeting will be looking at good practice in managing student placements and linking evaluation of learning to CPD requirements

This meeting is for managers with a learning and development remit and encompasses registration and regulation matters and national initiatives such as Caring for Practice - Induction; CPD; Performance Management; Full Cost Recovery; Qualifications etc

The emphasis of these meetings is on a partnership approach and we are joined by representatives from FE; OU; Voluntary and Independent Training Providers; NHS; Health and Social Care; Children and Families and Services for Communities; SE learning Network The aim is not to re invent the wheel more to share and discuss care learning and development and where ever possible develop partnerships both informal and formal. At every meeting there is time for networking and discussion.
